Recently traveled from home to Tacoma, Washington, crossing parts of South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho in addition to Washington.

During a recent trip to the Finger Lakes region of New York, we stayed near Cayuga Lake and hiked the gorge in Watkins Glen State Park.

Ousel Falls is on the South Fork of the West Fork of the Gallatin River, about 2 miles from Big Sky town center in Montana. The falls are accessible via a .75 mile well-maintained trail (one way).

Yellowstone National Park closes for vehicle access during the winter, but a through road is kept open from the north entrance at Gardiner, Montana, to the northeast entrance at Cody, Wyoming. Here are some photos from a recent visit.
